Can I delete one of my blog entries?
No. Currently SoberCircle only allows for the editing of previous blog entries.

What is a Blog?
A blog is an online journal of sorts through which personal experiences, ideas, and events are communicated to an online community.

What should I post in my Blog?
Anything you want! Though some caveats do apply. It is most likely not in your best interest to post personal information such as your address, phone number, or SSN.

Who can read my blog?
In your profile settings, you may specify whether the general public can see your blog, or only your friends on SoberCircle.

Who can post events?
Currently, anyone who is a SoberCircle member may post an event. We encourage people to only post events that bring redeeming value to other members of the community.

If, at any time, a member abuses the events system for purposes of product advertisement (spamming) or harassment of others, then their membership will be revoked.

What are the Forums?
The Forums are a place for members of SoberCircle to discuss everyday experiences with their recovery and life, and receive feedback from other members. Members are encouraged to engage in civilized discussion. Anyone caught spamming the forums or consistently posting obscene content will have their membership revoked.

What does 'Give Thanks' mean?
The 'Give Thanks' button is a way of expressing gratitude over some knowledge or advice that a person has imparted in a forum comment.

Is SoberCircle.com free to join?
Yes!

What constitutes a 'professional'?
A professional is anyone who brings in an income through providing direct services in the mental health field.

Can I customize my Profile page?
Currently SoberCircle offers a handful of different themes for the profile page. More themes are being developed for future release.

Can I post videos on my Profile?
Yes! It is possible to use a third party service such as YouTube or VideoEgg to embed videos in your profile. Videos should be non-obscene and non-copywritten material. SoberCircle does not support any problems that may arise in the use of such sites, and cannot be responsible for the content on such sites.

Can I use a profile template from another social networking website?
No, each social networking website has its own structure behind the "scenes". What that means is that if you use a template that has been created for another site, it will not look the same on SoberCircle.com.

How do I get more Friends?
As you meet more people on SoberCircle, you can ask some of them to be your friends. To request a member as a friend, simply go to their profile page and click on the 'Add to Friends' button. Once you confirm your choice, then a request will be sent to the member. If they accept, then you will be added to her friend list, and she will be added to yours.

If you ever want to take a person off of your friends list, click on the 'Edit Friends' link on your profile page.

What is a profile?
The profile page holds all of the basic information regarding a member of SoberCircle. Profiles allow other members to find people who have similar interests and experiences.
